Summary

This study will watch popular medical TV series to count and describe scenes of death, dying, and violence or aggression toward healthcare workers. Researchers want to see if these shows create unrealistic expectations for patients and families or influence what people think is acceptable behavior. The study will review 500 episodes and note the types of violence and emotions shown during end-of-life care.
