Do medical TV dramas give us unrealistic expectations about death and violence in hospitals?
NCT ID NCT07416669
Summary
This study aims to understand how popular medical TV dramas portray two sensitive topics: end-of-life care and violence against healthcare workers. Researchers will analyze episodes from medical TV series to count and describe scenes showing death, dying, and aggressive behavior in hospital settings. The goal is to see if these portrayals match real-life medical care and if they might influence public expectations and behavior.
