Turtle therapy tested to tame Kids' dental jitters
NCT ID NCT07439289
Summary
This study aims to see if having a turtle present during a dental visit can help reduce fear and improve cooperation in children aged 6 to 10. Researchers will measure anxiety levels and heart rate in kids during routine, non-invasive dental procedures like check-ups or cleanings. The goal is to find a simple, drug-free way to make dental visits less stressful for young patients.
