NCT ID NCT07439289
First seen Mar 03, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looks at whether spending time with a turtle during a dental visit can lower anxiety in children aged 6 to 10. Researchers will measure kids' fear levels and heart rate during routine, needle-free procedures. Half the children will have a turtle present, while the other half will not. The goal is to see if animal interaction makes dental care less stressful.
