First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study will follow 200 men with enlarged prostates who are scheduled for a standard surgery called TURP. Researchers want to find out which simple tests done before surgery—like symptom questionnaires, ultrasound, and urine flow measurements—best predict a good outcome. The goal is to build a free online calculator that helps patients and doctors decide together if TURP is the right choice.
