Spice & diabetes drug trial aims to tame prostate cancer
NCT ID NCT06044025
Summary
This study is checking if it's practical to add two supplements—turmeric and metformin—to the standard on-and-off hormone therapy for men whose prostate cancer is starting to progress again. Researchers want to see if this combination can help delay the cancer's return and improve patients' quality of life. They will also collect blood and stool samples to learn more about how the body and its bacteria might influence the cancer.
