Researchers groove to see if traditional dances can fortify bones
NCT ID NCT07068113
Summary
This study investigated whether adding regular Turkish folk dances to a standard home exercise program could help postmenopausal women with low bone mass (osteopenia). Researchers compared two groups of women aged 50-60: one group did home exercises plus dance videos, while the other did home exercises plus walking. The goal was to see if dancing improved bone density, balance, fitness, and quality of life more than walking alone.
