Nasal blockage surgery showdown: which technique works best?
NCT ID NCT07457606
Summary
This study compared two common surgical procedures for people with enlarged nasal turbinates causing chronic nasal blockage. 58 adults who hadn't responded to medications had either partial removal of the turbinate tissue or a heat-based shrinking procedure. Researchers tracked pain, blockage relief, and healing over three months to see which approach worked better.
