New dissolving implant aims to prevent sinus surgery scarring
NCT ID NCT07027267
First seen Apr 06, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tests a small, dissolvable implant called TurbAlign™ that is placed during sinus surgery to keep the middle turbinate (a small bone inside the nose) from shifting and causing scarring. About 50 adults having sinus surgery will receive the implant, and doctors will check healing at 4 and 8 weeks. The goal is to see if the implant safely reduces complications and improves recovery.
