Mini-Tumors in a dish could predict cancer drug success
NCT ID NCT06612827
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study aims to grow miniature versions of tumors (called organoids) from patients with a rare and hard-to-treat cancer called undifferentiated primary carcinoma. By testing different drugs on these lab-grown organoids, researchers hope to predict which treatment will work best for each patient. The study will enroll 20 adults who are about to start or have just started their first round of systemic therapy.
