Scientists grow Mini-Tumors in lab to test treatments before giving them to patients

NCT ID NCT06612827

Summary

This study aims to create 3D models called 'tumor organoids' from cancer tissue samples of patients with undifferentiated carcinoma. Researchers will grow these mini-tumors in the lab and test different treatments on them to see which might work best for each patient. The goal is to help doctors make more personalized treatment decisions by predicting how a patient's specific cancer will respond to various therapies.
