Could 'Tubeless' surgery help lung patients bounce back faster?
NCT ID NCT07409129
Summary
This study is testing whether a 'tubeless' approach helps people recover more quickly and comfortably after surgery to remove small lung nodules. Patients will be randomly assigned to either receive the new approach—which avoids a breathing tube during anesthesia and skips the chest drain after surgery—or the traditional method. The main goal is to see if patients in the 'tubeless' group meet more recovery goals within the first day after their operation.
