First seen Feb 14, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study tests whether avoiding breathing tubes and chest drains during minimally invasive lung surgery helps people recover faster. 138 adults with small lung nodules will be randomly assigned to either the tubeless approach or standard care. The main goal is to see if more people in the tubeless group meet high-quality recovery criteria 24 hours after surgery.
