Summary

This study tested a new, less invasive laser treatment (TU-FLAP) against standard surgery (TURP) for men with an enlarged prostate causing bothersome symptoms. 56 men participated, and researchers measured improvements in urine flow, symptoms, and safety over one year. The goal was to see if the new laser approach offers similar benefits with fewer side effects.
