New pill aims to slow Alzheimer's progression in major trial
NCT ID NCT07252440
Summary
This study is testing whether an experimental tablet called TTYP01 can slow the progression of early Alzheimer's disease. Researchers will enroll 180 people with mild memory problems due to Alzheimer's and randomly assign them to receive either one of two doses of TTYP01 or a placebo pill for 78 weeks. The main goal is to see if the drug can slow cognitive decline compared to the placebo, as measured by standard memory and thinking tests.
