Zap away pain? brain stimulation trial for NMOSD sufferers

Summary

This study tests a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called tTIS to see if it can safely reduce neuropathic pain in people with neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD). Twelve adults with stable NMOSD and ongoing nerve pain will receive the treatment and be monitored for changes in pain scores. The goal is to find a new way to ease this common, hard-to-treat symptom.
