Massive new registry to monitor brain aneurysm devices in Real-World use

NCT ID NCT07474935

First seen Mar 23, 2026 · Last updated Jun 24, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This registry is following 5,000 people who receive special devices (called flow diverters) to treat brain aneurysms or other blood vessel problems. The goal is to see how safe and effective these devices are when used in everyday hospital practice. Researchers will track outcomes like disability and aneurysm healing over time.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

Neurovascular flow diverter devices (p64, p48, and HPC variants) and other adjunctive devices

What this could lead to

If successful, this registry could provide real-world evidence on how well these devices work and their safety in routine stroke treatment.

What could go wrong

This is an observational registry, not a controlled trial, so it cannot prove cause and effect. Results may be influenced by differences in patient care across hospitals.

Conditions

The condition(s) this trial relates to.

Aneurysm Aneurysm, False brain aneurysm Constriction, Pathologic X-Linked Combined Immunodeficiency Diseases

As listed by the trial registrant

The condition terms exactly as the trial's registrant entered them.
