Summary
This study tests whether helping people recently released from prison and their families with housing money and financial education, plus training community members to offer trauma support, can lower gun violence in New Haven's most affected neighborhoods. Researchers will track neighborhood gun violence rates and social connections among residents. Anyone living in these areas can participate in the surveys, and those who meet specific criteria can receive housing assistance.
