NCT ID NCT03384537

First seen Mar 30, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests whether a mouthwash containing tropolone can reduce bacteria in the mouth better than a standard chlorhexidine mouthwash. About 30 healthy adults aged 18 to 45 will rinse with one of the two mouthwashes, and researchers will measure bacterial levels. The goal is to find a more effective way to control dental germs.
