Scientists search for clue to make thyroid cancer treatment work again

NCT ID NCT07314255

Summary

This study looks back at medical records and tissue samples from 60 people with papillary thyroid cancer who received radioactive iodine therapy. Researchers are trying to see if a protein called Trop2 can help explain why some patients' cancers stop responding to this standard treatment. The goal is to gather knowledge that might lead to better predictions or new strategies in the future, not to test a new cure.
