Ancient herbal remedy takes on gold standard mouthwash in gum disease fight
NCT ID NCT07426393
Summary
This study tested whether a traditional herbal mouthwash called Triphala works as well as the standard chlorhexidine mouthwash for controlling plaque and gum inflammation (gingivitis). Researchers compared the two mouthwashes in 220 adults with mild to moderate gingivitis. The goal was to see if the herbal option could be a gentler, side-effect-free alternative for daily oral care.
