Splint vs. wax vs. mud: the battle to unlock sticky fingers
NCT ID NCT07256522
Summary
This study aims to find out which of three common non-surgical treatments works best for easing trigger finger, a condition where a finger gets stuck when bent. Sixty adults with trigger finger will be randomly assigned to use a finger splint, receive paraffin wax baths, or receive peloid (mud) therapy, all while doing hand exercises at home. Researchers will measure pain, finger function, and patient satisfaction over six weeks to see which approach provides the most relief.
