New surgery aims to stop trigger finger from coming back
NCT ID NCT07497061
Summary
This study aims to find out which of two common surgical techniques works better for treating trigger finger, a painful condition where a finger gets stuck when bending. Researchers will compare the standard surgery, which makes a cut in a tight band of tissue, to a newer method that removes the band completely. They want to see which approach results in fewer cases of the problem returning and leads to less pain and better finger movement after one year.
