Valve repair may unlock better heart failure treatment

NCT ID NCT07578129

First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study will check if repairing a severe leak in the tricuspid valve (using a device called PASCAL Precision) helps people with weak hearts take higher doses of standard heart failure medicines. About 50 adults with both a leaky valve and reduced heart function will be followed for 12 months. The goal is to see if the repair allows doctors to safely increase medications that protect the heart.
