New trial aims to outsmart aggressive gut tumors with Double-Punch therapy

NCT ID NCT07185672

Summary

This study is testing whether combining two treatments works better than one for patients with a specific type of aggressive neuroendocrine tumor in the digestive system. It will compare a standard targeted radiation therapy (PRRT) against that same therapy plus chemotherapy. The goal is to see if the combination can better control the cancer and help patients live longer without their disease getting worse.
