Summary
This study tests an experimental drug called HW091077 in 180 adults with a chronic cough that has lasted at least a year and hasn't responded to other treatments. The goal is to see if the drug can reduce how often people cough and how severe it feels. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the drug or a placebo, and neither they nor their doctors will know which they are getting.
