Cream may soothe cancer drug skin rash

Summary
This study tests whether a tretinoin cream can lessen the acne-like rash that often appears on the face during treatment with certain cancer drugs (panitumumab or cetuximab). About 25 adults with advanced solid tumors will apply tretinoin to one side of their face and a placebo cream to the other side. Researchers will compare the rash severity on each side to see if the cream helps.
