Doctors track Real-World use of Heart-Lung drug in critically ill newborns

NCT ID NCT06499363

Summary

This study aims to gather real-world information on how the drug treprostinil is used to treat newborns with persistent pulmonary hypertension, a serious condition where blood pressure is too high in the lungs. Researchers will observe 60 infants in France who are already receiving this medication as part of their standard care. The goal is to better understand the drug's safety, how it's given, and how well it works in everyday hospital practice.
