Cancer patients may soon skip hospital trips for rash checks using smartphone video
NCT ID NCT07476807
First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study tests whether video consultations can safely and effectively assess and manage skin rashes caused by cancer treatments. About 25 adult cancer patients with mild rashes will use their smartphone or computer to show their skin to a nurse or doctor over a secure video call. The goal is to see if telemedicine works as well as in-person visits and if patients and staff are satisfied with this approach.
