Drug showdown: which stops Post-C-Section shivering better?

NCT ID NCT06513806

Summary

This study compared two medications, granisetron and pethidine, to see which works better at stopping shivering after spinal anesthesia for cesarean sections. Shivering is a common and uncomfortable side effect that can happen after this type of anesthesia. The trial involved 330 women who had a C-section and experienced shivering, monitoring how well each drug relieved their symptoms.
