Race against superbugs: new antibiotic cocktails tested for deadly ICU infections
NCT ID NCT06440304
Summary
This study aims to find the best antibiotic combinations to treat serious infections caused by a specific drug-resistant bacteria (Acinetobacter baumannii) in intensive care unit (ICU) patients. Researchers will compare three different two-drug combinations, all including the antibiotic colistin, to see which one most effectively clears the infection and helps patients recover.
