New study pits weighted treadmills against Real-World practice to help kids walk
NCT ID NCT07474818
Summary
This study aims to find out which of two common physical therapy methods works better to improve walking and daily movement in children with spastic diplegic cerebral palsy. It will compare Loaded Treadmill Training, which uses ankle weights during walking practice, with Task-Specific Training, which focuses on practicing real-life activities like standing and walking. The goal is to help children become more independent and reduce the care needed from their families.
