First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study looks at whether walking on a treadmill can help people who have had a stroke improve their walking pattern and reduce differences in body temperature between their affected and unaffected sides. Researchers will enroll 24 adults who had a stroke at least six months ago and can walk with or without help. Participants will do treadmill training, and the team will measure changes in walking speed, endurance, and thermal symmetry.
