New painkiller aims to ease suffering after abdominal surgery

Summary
This study tests a new liquid painkiller called TRD303 for people recovering from abdominal surgery. The goal is to see how well it controls pain and how safe it is. About 333 adults having elective abdominal surgery will take part. The study compares TRD303 to a placebo and another active painkiller.
