Can a common pill finally help seniors sleep through the night?
NCT ID NCT06983080
Summary
This study is testing if the medication trazodone is better than a placebo at reducing insomnia symptoms in adults aged 65 and older. Participants will take either trazodone or a placebo pill for 28 days, then switch to the other option after a break. Researchers will measure changes in sleep quality and daytime functioning using sleep diaries and a wrist-worn activity monitor.
