Scientists track hidden blood clues after trauma
NCT ID NCT03741023
Summary
This study aims to understand why some patients develop serious complications after a major injury or invasive surgery. Researchers will observe 320 patients to see if early changes in blood clotting and inflammation are linked to later problems like infections, organ issues, or poor healing. The goal is to gather knowledge to help predict and prevent these complications in the future.
