Doctors test which trauma score best predicts who lives or dies
NCT ID NCT06744985
Summary
This study aims to find out which of two medical scoring systems is better at predicting survival for patients with multiple serious injuries. Researchers will enroll 200 trauma patients at a hospital in Iraq and calculate both scores when they arrive. They will then track the patients' outcomes to see which score more accurately forecasts who survives their hospital stay.
