Summary
This study aims to understand how severe inflammation after a major injury affects a patient's ability to breathe. Researchers will measure various substances in the blood and check lung function in 130 adult trauma patients in the ICU. The goal is to find better warning signs that could help doctors predict and manage serious lung complications.
