First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tests two different injected treatments—tranexamic acid and glutathione—to see which works better for reducing dark patches on the face after a burn heals. Sixty adults with healed facial burns will receive both treatments on different halves of the same dark spot over six sessions. The goal is to find a safe, effective way to even out skin tone without surgery.
