New study tests tranexamic acid for safer repeat C-Sections

Summary

This study looks at whether giving tranexamic acid (TXA) after delivery during a repeat C-section can reduce blood loss in women at low risk for bleeding. About 204 women having their second or third scheduled C-section will take part. The goal is to see if TXA helps without harming the baby.
