Doctors get schooled: new training aims to boost childhood vaccination rates
NCT ID NCT06074237
Summary
This study tested a training program for doctors-in-training (residents) to improve their skills in talking with parents who are hesitant about vaccines. The program used online lessons and practice sessions with actors pretending to be parents. The goal was to see if this training made the residents more confident and knowledgeable, and if it led to more children getting important vaccines like HPV, flu, MMR, and COVID-19 shots in the doctors' clinics.
