New program aims to arm doctors against youth HIV
NCT ID NCT06804382
Summary
This study tests a one-on-one training program for pediatricians to help them better prescribe HIV prevention medication (PrEP) to adolescents and young adults. Fifty doctors in the Boston area will receive the training to see if it's practical and acceptable, and if it changes how they prescribe PrEP and how their patients use it. The goal is to find better ways to implement this proven prevention tool in pediatric clinics.
