Doctors get special training to fight HIV in teens
NCT ID NCT06804382
Summary
This study is testing a special one-on-one training program for pediatricians. The goal is to see if this training helps doctors feel more comfortable prescribing PrEP, a daily pill that prevents HIV, to their teenage and young adult patients. Researchers will work with 50 doctors in the Boston area to see if the training is practical and if it changes how often they offer this important prevention tool.
