Ancient remedies put to modern test for hair regrowth
NCT ID NCT06998680
Summary
This 6-month study is testing whether Traditional Chinese Medicine products—taken as capsules and applied as a hair tonic—can help with hair loss and potentially reduce gray hair. Researchers will enroll 152 adults with hair loss and randomly assign them to receive either the active treatments or placebo products. The study will measure changes in hair count, density, shedding, and color through scalp examinations and photographs.
