Tracking superbugs in vulnerable transplant patients

NCT ID NCT07324291

Summary

This study aims to understand how often dangerous antibiotic-resistant bacteria appear in stem cell transplant patients and how frequently these bacteria lead to serious infections. Researchers will follow 1,000 adult patients after their transplants, checking for bacteria through routine swab tests. The goal is to identify risk factors and infection patterns to help improve future patient care.
