Scientists watch heart damage unfold after cancer treatment

NCT ID NCT06373497

Summary

This study aims to understand how radiation therapy to the chest for cancer affects heart health in real time. Researchers will use a special type of PET/MRI scan to look for early signs of artery disease in 10 adult cancer patients receiving chest radiation. The goal is to gather knowledge about this side effect, not to treat the cancer or the heart condition.
