Summary

This study looks at whether having a dedicated tracheostomy team can reduce how long patients stay in the hospital and lower the chance of their breathing tube accidentally coming out. Researchers will follow 706 adult tracheostomy patients on medical floors. The goal is to see if a team approach leads to better outcomes.
