NCT ID NCT07424196
First seen Feb 22, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study will use wearable devices to collect health data from 60 tracheostomy patients at four key times: when they enter the hospital, before using a speaking valve, before tube removal, and before discharge. The goal is to measure the physical benefits of removing the breathing tube and encourage earlier removal when safe. Participants must be adults who are not on a ventilator and have had their tracheostomy tube for at least 48 hours.
