Can a Mineral-Rich drink beat water and sports drinks for rehydration?
NCT ID NCT06858904
Summary
This study compared how well three different drinks rehydrate people after exercise. Fifteen healthy, active adults exercised until they lost 2% of their body weight, then drank either plain water, a standard sports drink, or a solution rich in trace minerals. Researchers measured how much fluid their bodies retained and other hydration markers over several hours to see which drink worked best.
