New drug trial offers hope for Tough-to-Treat amyloidosis

Summary
This study is testing an investigational drug called TQB2934 for people with systemic light chain amyloidosis that has come back or stopped responding to prior treatments. The main goals are to find a safe and effective dose and to see if the drug can help clear the harmful proteins from the blood and improve the function of affected organs like the heart and kidneys. The study will enroll about 70 adults who have previously been treated with specific medications for their condition.
