New combo aims to boost platelets in cancer patients
NCT ID NCT06769685
First seen Dec 26, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study looks at whether combining two platelet-boosting drugs (rhTPO and hetrombopag) can safely and quickly raise platelet levels in cancer patients whose counts drop too low after chemotherapy. About 100 adults will take part, and researchers will track how fast platelets recover and whether treatment delays or bleeding are reduced. The goal is to manage this common side effect so patients can continue their cancer therapy on schedule.
